Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a quality assurance program both in the Groceries, Restaurant and/or Food service operation.
- Evaluating the cleanliness of equipment, utensils and work areas of all production units.
- Ensure personnel hygiene and Zero risk of food contamination
- Perform quality audit check during the receiving process of fresh products and/or raw materials so as to safeguard the company from products that are not up to the required standard.
- Perform intermittent temperature check of cooling equipment’s as required so as to maintain products freshness and preservation
- Liaise with the HR in relating with regulatory bodies with regards to food safety
- Ensure proper evaluation of the quality of food served across all service departments
- Liaise with the HR during the recruitment process of the unit’s staffs when required.
- Coordinate and guarantee accurate batching of ingredients so as to promote recipe standardization and consistency.
- Conduct periodic inspection across all service department to ensure compliance with food safety requirements and/or regulations.
- Ensure compliance from all service departments’ staffs in line with General Hygiene Practice.
- Perform customer service when required by ensuring customers’ satisfactions are met in line with the products passed.
- Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the food prepared.
- Monitor the production phase at various levels.
- Prepare the store according to the standard SOPs for routine checks by government agencies (SON, NAFDAC etc.).
- Record keep of performance quality reports, statistical reviews and other activities including trainings/pep talks conducted.
- Keeping an eye on the goal of increasing the company’s profitability.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to ensure food safety and standardized quality in line regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates training and therapy to provide employees with quality standards and assistance when they’re not meeting goals.
- Conducts hazard analyses and monitors quality measures to set the standard for quality assurance.
- Carry out intermittent water treatment check
- Perform other task as may be assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess HND / Bachelor’s Degrees with 5 – 10 years relevant work experience.
