Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, plans, and correspondence. Organize and archive project files for easy access and reference.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries from clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress, milestones, and any potential issues.
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in resource allocation by coordinating with procurement teams to acquire necessary materials, equipment, and services. Monitor resource utilization to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets specified standards and regulations. Conduct inspections and audits as necessary to identify and address any deviations from requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact project delivery. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

  • A Degree holder in Civil Engineering, COREN Certified with at least ten years work experience in constructions spanning across buildings,bridges, roads, tents etc.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively liaising with stakeholders, facilitating meetings, and documenting project details.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks, documents, and deadlines simultaneously. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accuracy in project documentation.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions in a timely manner. Proactive problem-solving skills are essential for overcoming challenges and ensuring project success.
  • Team Collaboration: Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve common project goals. A positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with team members are valuable assets.
  • Time Management: Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Strong time management skills are necessary to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
