Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
- Develop strategies to attract top talent and maintain a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related issues.
- Address employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.
- Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for development.
- Coordinate performance reviews, goal setting, and performance improvement plans as needed.
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate employee development initiatives, including mentoring, coaching, and succession planning.
- Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and employee benefits packages.
- Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures consistent with labour laws and organizational values.
- Communicate policies to employees and ensure compliance across the organization.
- Implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.
- Organize employee events, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms to promote a positive work environment.
- Track and analyze HR metrics, such as turnover rates, retention rates, and employee satisfaction scores.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to inform decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices and activities.
- Advise management on legal issues related to employment law, discrimination, harassment, and workplace safety.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree and HR certification (e.g., CIPM & SHRM) preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years as a Human Resource Manager.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR software/tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Required Competencies:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively resolve conflicts and address sensitive issues.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR software/tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
