We are seeking to hire an experienced Head of People and Culture to lead the development and implementation of strategies that foster a positive work culture, drive employee engagement, and support the growth of our client, a leading FMCG Paper Packaging Company. The Head of People and Culture will be responsible for talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and employee development.
Reports to: CEO
Key experience Required: 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Skills Requirements
- Strong knowledge of core HR principles, particularly relevant laws governing employment.
- Must possess baseline appreciation of compensation and benefits as well as some knowledge of the applicable tax laws and regimes.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that drive organizational success.
- Proven track record of effectively managing talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and employee development programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Good proficiency in the use of MS office productivity tools.
- Good degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Very good customer service, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Good problem-solving skills, and crisis/conflict management skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and take initiative, able to work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good networking and teaming skills.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to respond to change.
- An enquiring mindset consistently seeking innovative ways to deliver without compromising quality.
Educational Qualification
- A first degree or its equivalent in Humanities or any relevant social sciences.
- Human resource professional certification e.g., CIPM or any other recognized certification.
