Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance:
    • Greet customers as they enter the store and ascertain their needs.
    • Provide detailed information about products, including features, specifications, and pricing.
    • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by offering product recommendations based on their requirements.
    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
  • Sales Generation:
    • Actively engage with customers to promote sales and achieve monthly targets.
    • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Demonstrate product functionalities and advantages to customers to encourage purchases.
    • Stay updated on new product releases and promotions to effectively promote and sell merchandise.
  • Store Maintenance:
    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store’s display areas, including product shelves, counters, and demo stations.
    • Monitor and replenish merchandise on the sales floor to maintain adequate inventory levels.
    • Assist in periodic stocktaking activities to accurately account for inventory.
  • Product Knowledge and Training:
    • Continuously educate yourself on the latest trends, technologies, and features of electronic products.
    • Attend training sessions and product briefings provided by manufacturers or the company to enhance product knowledge.
    • Share insights and best practices with team members to improve overall sales performance.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Communicate effectively with the sales team and management regarding customer feedback, sales trends, and inventory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the electronics industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping people.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of electronic products and their specifications.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other sales software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks or screenings as required by the company.
