About the Role

• We are searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented internal auditor/risk officer to join our growing team. This individual will play a vital role in safeguarding our company’s assets, ensuring adherence to regulations, and promoting a strong culture of risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and corporate governance practices.
• Conduct audits of financial statements, accounts payable/receivable, and operational activities, identifying potential weaknesses, inaccuracies, and areas for improvement.
• Assess adherence to established regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
• Analyze data, conduct interviews, and review documentation to gather information and support audit findings.
• Prepare well-written and concise audit reports, clearly outlining identified risks, control weaknesses, and recommendations for corrective action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or relevant professional certification a plus).
• Minimum of 5years of experience in internal auditing or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards (e.g., IIA Internal Audit Standards), and risk management frameworks.
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive audit plans.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Salary

• N350,000 – N400,000 monthly.
