Summary of Role

• The veterinary technician department lead will provide exceptional supervisory delivery of premium service to pets: bathing, grooming and ensuring thorough cleaning of dog’s kennels, clinic, admission rooms, boarding rooms and the general premises of the organization.

Job Description

• Monitoring of dogs on boarding and admission room (feeding, observation and kennel cleaning).
• Conduct grooming duties.
• Providing assistance to Doctors as required in cases of restraint, drug administration and general cleaning.
• Ensuring 95%-100% customer satisfaction at all times
• Reducing customer complaints to <2% monthly.
• Recommending grooming techniques/products to client.
• Be prepared to handle any pet or facility emergency that may arise, including dog or cat fights, choking or strangulating animals, and facility fire or weather-related emergencies.

Job Specification

• Minimum of OND qualification from any field.
• Execllent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proximity to location is an added advantage.

Remuneration
