The Trade Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between marketing and sales by developing and implementing strategies to promote products effectively to retailers, distributors, and other trade partners. The Trade Marketing Manager will among other responsibilities be responsible for:

• Develop comprehensive trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives and sales targets.
• Identify key market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform trade marketing initiatives.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and trade events to drive sales and increase brand visibility.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop promotional calendars and ensure alignment with sales objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and trade partners.
• Negotiate trade marketing agreements and promotional programs to maximize product placement and visibility.
• Develop and distribute POS materials, displays, and merchandising solutions to enhance product visibility and drive sales at retail outlets.
• Conduct regular market analysis, including sales data, market trends, and competitor performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales within the consumer goods industry.
• Strong understanding of trade marketing principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
