Job Summary

  •  We are seeking a highly organized and disciplined Store Officer to oversee the daily operations of our retail outlet.
  • The Store Officer will be responsible for managing staff, enhancing customer satisfaction, meeting store targets, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the store team to increase sales and ensure efficiency. Handle staffing requirements, including the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure the stock is well-maintained and logged accurately. Implement inventory audits and control wastage.
  • Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets, working closely with the sales team to maximize performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer needs, and profits. Conduct regular analysis to make data-driven decisions for operational adjustments.
  • Budget Management: Manage budget and forecast monthly and annual profits. Control expenses and analyze store financials to optimize profitability.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the store environment is safe and secure, protecting staff and customers. Monitor security protocols and handle emergencies effectively.

 Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar managerial role, preferably in an ISP or telecommunications environment.
  • Strong organizational and disciplined leadership skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and store management software. Must have knowledge of TEAMS or demonstrate a willingness to learn quickly. Familiarity with TEAMS is essential for effective communication and workflow management within our company.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations.
