Job Details

• Systems and Servers configuration and installation.
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults;
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
• Server Maintenance including compliance of all required processes and procedures.
• Understanding and installation of LAN, WAN and External Line Plant.
• Understanding and installation of Earthing and Grounding/Lightning arrestor  systems
• Maintenance and repairs of computer systems, peripherals, ELP and LAN machineries/tools.
• Adopt and implement a detailed maintenance plan, which is designed to minimize if not eliminate all unplanned equipment outages.
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
• Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs; Preparing reports as required;
• Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
• Assisting in troubleshooting and repair of telecoms equipment e.g. Fusion Splicer’s and OTDRs etc;
• Repairs of electrical equipment and system power components;;
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
