About You

• We are looking for a smart and driven Research & Outreach Associate who will be involved in planning and conducting research and outreach projects across the Company.
• In this role you will research and develop the organizational processes, financial management procedures, and legal standards to enable Prospa to function and be sustainable over the long term.
• The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, self-starter who takes initiative and is creative about achieving their goals. They will be ready to take primary responsibility for undertaking the research and outreach work that will inform how Prospa best services its Members and develops its products and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Building research based databases across business industry and investment sectors
• Generate reports, plans and presentations to support Prospa’s, business development.
• Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of research data; analyse local, national, and global trends that impact both the company and the industry
• Adhere to research management best practices and maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
• Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Assist with traditional and social media outreach
• Coordinate media, partner and investor requests
• Contribute new ideas on a regular basis and able to execute projects independently
• Collaborating with other Teams across Prospa to provide methodological, research and evidence based support, as required.

Skills & Experience

• Degree from a reputable University
• Experience in research and outreach
• Knowledge and understanding of FinTech, Banking and Investment industries
• Attention to detail and highly analytical with the ability to critically interpret data and seek patterns to explain research findings.
• Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
• Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations in a variety of formats and for multiple audiences
• Excellent attention to detail is a must as is the ability to think strategically.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are needed as are all types of communication
• Strong IT skills with the ability to use software programs for various tasks.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of a variety of research and outreach methodology, such as qualitative and quantitative research, to collect data efficiently.

Key Requirements

• Must be based in Yaba, or surrounding areas
