Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor at DESCON Engineering Limited located in Port Harcourt.
- The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for tasks such as cost control, preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting.
- The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the project team to ensure adherence to project budgets and provide accurate cost estimates.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in cost control, cost management, and cost planning
- Experience in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Professional certification in Quantity Surveying is a plus
