Responsibilities

• Assist the senior project manager with all aspects of project execution.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop and manage project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Address stakeholder concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of team members’ skills and availability.
• Identify and mitigate project risks. Proactively address issues and roadblocks.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices.
• Prepare regular status reports, communicate project updates, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Analyze project performance, identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
• Continuously learn and grow in project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 1-3 years of project management experience, preferably in the financial services industry (internships included)
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate efficient prioritization skills.
• Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• PMP training certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Proactively recognize needs and take the initiative to share thoughts and possible solutions.
