Job Summary

  • The project support Officer will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support for HR due diligence and integration planning by facilitating the seamless integration of HR processes ensuring timely completion in line with project timelines. This position requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional with expertise in project management, a solid understanding of HR processes and change management.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting HR due diligence activities, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are organized and readily available as it relates to the ongoing project
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to compile HR-related data for workstream consolidation and horizontal functions alignments.
  • Provide administrative support to the HCM project team, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of tasks.
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing communication materials for stakeholders regarding the integration process.
  • Document meeting minutes, action items and key decisions made during stakeholder meetings.
  • Support in the integration of HR systems and databases as needed.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a comprehensive HR integration plan, ensuring alignment with overall acquisition and merger objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to align processes, workflows and HR technologies.
  • Assist in organizing cross-training initiatives to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Responsible for the preparation of regular progress reports on integration activities
  • Design, develop and edit project presentations, agendas, and other related documentation.
  • Manage the day to day operational and tactical aspects of allocated projects.
  • Manage the scope and minimise the exposure and risk on allocated projects.
  • Developing, revising and tracking implementation of phase model for Day 1/ First 100 Days
  • Identify key factors for quick wins and execute accordingly

Qualifications & Experience & Core Competencies

  • Previous experience in project support or coordination, with exposure to HR processes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong Data analysis skills
  • Problem-solving
  • Ability to rapidly understand the requirements of assigned work.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Understand project management principles and implementation in integration management
  • Understanding various merger types and appropriate integration methods.

Organizational Relationships:

  • Directly Reports to: Project team (Senior HR Generalist + Head, HCM)
  • Only candidates with experience in handling and implementing HR projects within a setting of acquisition and merger or an oil servicing firm.
