An opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join a private equity backed manufacturing company in Nigeria.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify loopholes and share risk aversion methods and cost savings
• Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
• Evaluate organizational and regulatory compliance
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
• Develop internal audit scope and audit plans
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to the Audit Committee.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as the Head of Internal Audit or relevant role.
• Excellent track record of implementing controls and ensuring compliance.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge is not required but is a plus.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant.
