Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations (software setup, commercial expansion, sales summit, loans, HMO, sales promotions, payments (commissions, fixed & variable payments, incentives and other benefits), reports, sales calls and other meetings) and running of Bancassurance, Mobile Insurance, Agency, Tele sales and other revenue generating channels by ensuring delivery by the team.
- Manage the day-to-day partnership operations and implementation of all existing partners agreements including the service level, contractual distribution, products and renumeration and related agreements.
- Coordinate the follow-up and implementation of projects as agreed
- Ensure the team handles all objections from the commercial team in a timely manner, Cognate experience garnered within the insurance industry with high confidentiality and utmost professionalism.
- Ensure timely delivery and adherence to agreed timelines on expectations set with all partnered Business Units and Unit Heads, Technology, Sales Administration, Recruitment, Product Development as relevant to the commercial group.
- Liaise closely with the Retail Technical and Technology team to ensure seamless onboarding of customers and timely service delivery as documented within the service level agreement.
- Obtain and interpret data, including the identification of patterns and trends in data sets to monitor revenue drivers and its margins.
- Collect information through identified trends and business targets for the purpose of the planning and preparation of the general and sales incentives and secure approvals from all relevant parties.
- Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business.
- Analysing results for all stakeholders and assisting with policy implementation to improve the revenue and sales operations
Qualifications:
- BSc. degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting. Actuarial Science, or related courses, with a minimum of a second-class lower grade, Le. 2.2).
- MSc. in a specialized business-related course will be an added advantage (not essential)
- Relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Bancassurance Steering (Executive and Operational) committee meetings and manage Experience: the relationships with the existing partners.
- 10-14 years of experience in similar role and capacity
(preferred) Knowledge:
- A high level of analytical capabilities
- Programming languages, such as SQL, Oracle and Python Ability to analyse, model and interpret data
