Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the cable manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Oversee quality control procedures and ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize production efficiency and profitability.
- Manage procurement of raw materials and supplies, ensuring timely acquisition at competitive prices.
- Lead and develop the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the manufacturing division, aligned with the overall company goals.
- Manage the capital expenditure budget for the manufacturing department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and product development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the manufacturing team, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee development plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or advanced degree(s)
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills..
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and supply chain management.
- In Depth understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent financial acumen and budgeting experience.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production planning software (a plus)
