Fire and Gas Engineer needed at ARIL Technologies Limited

Position Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire and Gas Engineer to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of fire and gas detection systems in industrial and commercial settings.
• This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations, technical acumen, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain fire and gas detection systems in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential fire and gas hazards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including safety, engineering, and operations, to ensure effective implementation of fire and gas safety measures.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, technical drawings, and safety reports.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire and gas detection systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes, regulations, and standards.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their safety requirements and ensure the effective operation of fire and gas systems.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members and clients regarding fire and gas safety.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to fire and gas safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in fire and gas engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of fire and gas detection systems, including sensors, alarms, and suppression systems.
• Familiarity with safety codes and regulations, such as NFPA, IEC, OSHA, and others.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Relevant certifications are desirable but not required.
