Responsibilities

• Assist in Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis by reviewing and interpreting financial statements, identifying key financial trends, and assessing the company’s financial performance.
• Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Assist in Data Gathering: Collect and organize financial data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports and dashboards to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas of concern.
• Assist in Variance Analysis: Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide explanations for discrepancies, helping management understand financial performance.
• Assist in Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, investment decisions, and strategic planning.
• Assist in Cost Analysis: Analyze cost structures and cost drivers, offering insights into cost optimization opportunities.
• Assist in Market Research: Monitor industry and market trends to assess their potential impact on the organization’s financial performance.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: Assist with special financial projects and ad hoc analysis as required by management.

Functional Competencies:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and perform financial calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and financial ratios.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey financial information effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to think critically.
• Knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to changing financial environments and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economic or related discipline
• 0 – 2 years of experience with a modern knowledge of accounting framework
