Job Description
- We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Workshop Manager to oversee our workshop operations.
- The Workshop Manager will be responsible for coordinating all activities within the workshop, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including scheduling, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
- Supervise workshop staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure that all work carried out in the workshop is completed to a high standard and meets quality control standards.
- Develop and implement procedures to optimize workshop efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock of necessary materials and equipment.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all workshop activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare reports on workshop performance, including productivity metrics, quality control data, and budgetary information.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years experience
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing a team in a workshop environment.
- Experience in cutting list for cabinetaries, measurements and logistics.
