We are seeking a diligent and experienced Loan Officer to join our growing team. The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring the timely disbursement and recovery of loans. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate loan applications and make credit decisions based on thorough analysis of financial information, credit reports, and loan documentation.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with loan applicants to assess their financial situation, repayment ability, and credit risk.
  • Recommend appropriate loan structures and terms based on applicant’s financial status and loan purpose.
  • Monitor and manage an assigned loan portfolio, ensuring timely repayment and proactive management of delinquencies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in a microfinance institution or financial services organization.
  • Strong knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis, and loan management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound credit decisions.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
