Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Reconciliation Officer to join our team.
• The Reconciliation Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to pension accounts.
• They will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving discrepancies in records and transactions.

Job Responsibility

• Download Processed Summary and CTS file on custodian SFTP server
• Daily Reconciliation of Uncredited Contributions
• Transfer of Pension Payments and Contributions to the rightful PFAs
• Reconciliation of Multiple PINs registration
• Reconciliation of Transitional Contributory Fund Account (TCF).
• Processing of refunds both to PenCom and employers and verification of the correctness of transfer in both amount and account details.
• Response to emails on reconciliation issues.
• Preparation of the Monthly Transitional Contributory Fund, CRA report and State Uncredited Contribution report to PENCOM

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in the pension industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience as a Reconciliation Officer.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex discrepancies.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Knowledge of pension regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
