Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
  • Analyze client needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business and HR consulting requirements.

Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans that align with the firm’s objectives.
  • Identify key growth areas and opportunities for the company’s services.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the consulting team, marketing team, social media management team and other necessary teams to deliver high-quality services and solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to enhance the firm’s visibility and brand awareness.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports on business development activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize business development strategies.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities assigned by top management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the consulting industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of the consulting industry and its value proposition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN selling, solution selling)
  • Experience in building and managing sales teams.
