Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to position the company’s products or services effectively in the market.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- Define and maintain the brand identity, including visual elements, messaging, and brand guidelines.
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all communication channels.
- Collaborate with product development teams to align product features and benefits with brand positioning.
- Identify unique selling propositions and differentiation strategies.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness and product launches.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create compelling content and messaging.
- Oversee the brand’s presence on digital and social media platforms.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to engage and grow the brand’s online community.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Develop and manage budgets for brand campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maximizing brand impact.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to brand health.
- Use data-driven insights to adjust strategies for optimal brand performance.
- Explore and evaluate opportunities for brand extensions and partnerships.
- Ensure new offerings align with the core brand values.
- Craft and oversee the development of brand communication materials, including press releases, advertising, and promotional materials.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer behaviors.
- Propose adjustments to strategies based on market dynamics.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience working in an E-commerce business.
- 2-5 years proven experience in brand management, with a track record of successful brand development.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing trends and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools for performance measurement.
- Proximity to Lagos mainland
