JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate leads and identify sales prospects.
- Grow the customer base and develop customer relationships.
- Demonstrate the company’s added-value through presentations, and proposals uniquely positioned to customer needs.
- Contribute to business development initiatives such as seminars, workshops, and training sessions as required.
- Acquire new Business Accounts via outbound sales campaigns, quickly identify key decision makers and discover customer needs to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Qualify inbound leads and manage their engagements up to close and handoff to delivery/implementation teams.
- Deliver best in class customer experiences, build strong relationships, and influence decision makers.
- Present creative and unique solutions virtually, utilizing phone, Business Connect and Google Meet.
- Actively listen to customers, complete needs analysis and quickly identify and recommend solutions.
- Build a robust sales pipeline while developing a comprehensive strategy for long-term success.
- Provide insights and customer feedback to improve marketing campaigns and programs.
- Partner with the implementation team to ensure order requirements are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years experience in Sales, Account management or Business Development in a high-tech or service-related industry, preferably in software sales, technology sales, or cloud services for B2B businesses.
- In-depth knowledge and technical understanding of the organization’s business, product, and service offerings.
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
- A self-starter, who understands how to build and manage their own pipeline of opportunities.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise of selling technology solutions to enterprise businesses.
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients and an ability to influence stakeholders, C-level executives and decision makers.
- Great written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as good presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success selling to enterprises.
- Strong knowledge and experience with sales tools and technologies e.g Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive, Apollo, Crunchbase, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Google Docs, Sheets & Slides.
- You’re strongly analytical, results-driven and understand the importance of reporting on performance and using data to inform decisions.
- Empathy, a collaborative spirit, a sense of humor and a positive attitude.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Sales certifications are a plus.
