Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various departments.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define job requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Identify skill gaps and training needs within the organization to promote employee development.
- Design and implement training programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring it aligns with the company’s objectives and culture.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices and employee feedback.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop individual development plans for employees.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee concerns and areas for improvement.
- Create and promote programs that support employee well-being, recognition, and retention.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement talent management strategies that align with business goals.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding talent needs and succession planning.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent management to ensure the organization remains competitive.
- Work closely with HR teams to integrate talent management initiatives with overall HR functions.
- Prepare reports and presentations on talent management metrics, initiatives, and outcomes for senior management.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the employer brand.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field with NYSC Certificate.
- Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM-CP, or PHR (Certified Professional in Human Resources) are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent management, recruitment, or human resources roles.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing talent strategies, including recruitment, retention, development, and succession planning.
- Experience in managing performance evaluation systems, learning and development programs, and leadership training.
- Strategic thinking and planning: Ability to design and execute talent management strategies aligned with business goals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills: Experience in leading and mentoring teams or departments.
- Data-driven decision-making: Proficiency in using HR analytics, performance metrics, and talent data to make informed decisions
