Job Purpose
- Oversee and manage a sales team, establish targets, and drive sales initiatives. Provide training and support to the team, analyze data, and collaborate on strategic planning to maximize sales and contribute to overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Confirm competitor prices during routine market visits.
- Complete the “Customer Turnover Survey” and gather relevant market data.
- Ensure that company products are well displayed in customer shelves with good condition.
- Engage with new and existing customers, addressing their needs and explaining product benefits.
- Respond to customer inquiries about prices, availability, and product usage.
- Manage customer orders and balances effectively.
- Promote new and potential items to drive sales
- Approve requests on the Sales Platform.
- Prepare direct sales orders for key customers and major dealers.
- Coordinate with Transporters to ensure the timely arrival of products for direct sales
- Complete the Sales Forecast for the upcoming period.
- Discuss the Sales Forecast with the Line Manager.
- Directly follow up with Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor forecasted items and quantities against stock levels for accurate product ordering.
- Inform the Territory Sales/Channel Sales Supervisor about the potential for new markets/routes.
- Acquire and analyze potential customers for the new route.
- Study the distribution channels of major dealers and explore opportunities among their customers.
