JOB SUMMARY:

  • Oversee the company’s Human Resources, Administration/Corporate Affairs and Security functions and ensure the provision of support services to enhance the operation of the business Units in the company.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and update the company’s Organisational Chart.
  • Recommend, implement, and review, approved policies for the planning, co-ordination and control of recruitment, selection and placement processes, educational training programs, wage and salary administration, incentive and bonus plan, pension and gratuity and general welfare of staff.
  • Supervise the activities of Human Resources, Admin./Corporate Affairs, Security, Health and Safety Managers.
  • Put in place and maintain sound industrial relations, company regulations, staff discipline and grievance procedures.
  • Direct and supervise activities concerning Health, Safety and Environment issues.
  • Oversee the development of the ability and competence of the Human Resources unit to offer Training and contribute to Manpower Development.
  • Oversee assessment of training needs, skill requirements and the preparation of manpower and training plan.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of manpower planning systems and procedures for the company.
  • Oversee the administration of the company’s pension schemes.
  • Supervise the maintenance of up-to-date personnel records that meet the requirements of the company.
  • Oversee the operation of the company’s clinic, provision of adequate and constant supply of drugs and healthcare, staff canteen, insurance, and general administration services.
  • Oversee the operation and supervision of company’s security system.
  • Oversee and manage relationship with canteen, cleaning, and insurance service providers Budgeting and budgetary controls for HR Unit.
  • As may be assigned from time to time by management.

Minimum Qualification/ Requirement :

  • A good Bachelor’s degree and/or higher degree in Social Science, Arts, Law, or any relevant discipline.
  • Must be a registered member of CIPM.?
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing industry is Compulsory Preferably in the Printing industry.
  • ?Minimum Relevant Experience: 7 8 years working experience, of which at least 5 should have been in Human Resources in the manufacturing sector.
  • Must be a registered member of CIPM.?
  • Formal Training: Courses in organisation and Human Resource Management.
