Job Summary
- We are looking for a goal-oriented Channel Sales Manager for winning, maintaining, and expanding all our partner relationships within the assigned territory.
- In addition, your role will include supporting the company’s ongoing sales and growth opportunities by providing channel sales support to a region or portfolio of assigned partners or customers.
Responsibilities
- Implement promotional and marketing activities to boost partner sales
- Understand customer and business needs to cross-sell and up-sell the company’s products
- Coordinate with other company personnel such as the support team and management team to deliver and meet customer/ partner expectations
- Act as a bridge for communication between the customers/ partners
- Access, clarify and validate partner needs and performances at regular intervals and maintain a high partner satisfaction rate
- Coordinate with other sales channels to avoid any potential conflicts
- Coordinate with partner sales personnel and maximize sales
- Manage funnels, forecast, and seize sales opportunities
- Drive and manage sales and marketing campaigns
- Ensure compliance with partner agreements and contracts
- Provide training, support, and resources to enable partner success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align partner efforts with company goals
- Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics for partners
- Evaluate market trends and competitor actions to pinpoint potential opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or any other related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of work experience with more than 5years in power back-up industry
- Extensive experience in Channel Building
- Skilled in sustaining channelsDemonstrate a track record in channel sales or partner management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop sales strategies
- Proficiency in CRM and sales management software
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities
- Leadership and team management skills
- Exhibit industry awareness, and understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Commercially and financially aware with experience of managing budgets
- Contract management and supplier experience
- Good time management skills
- Flexible to travel to partner locations.
