Responsibilities
- To be suitably qualified to perform job to industry standard and have an eye for design and construction.
- To be able to train firewatcher to a suitable standard.
- To be able to calculate constructions for the reporting of lightship weights.
- Ensure proper maintenance, inventory and working condition of all equipment and consumables. acceptable limits.
- Area of safety and housekeeping is the Welders workshop and steel storage area/rack.
- Perform quality checks on the work of the welders
Requirements
- Applicable Welder certificate
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Capable of good decision making.
- Good communication.
