Job Summary

This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products. This role ensures that inventory is managed efficiently, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with other departments to support production needs.

Job Details

  • Oversee and manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, tools, and finished products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure that stock levels are optimized to meet production demands.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track and manage materials and products.
  • Coordinate and supervise daily warehouse activities, including material handling, storage, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of materials and products to internal and external customers.
  • Monitor the performance of warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall effectiveness of warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and procurement, to streamline operations and improve material flow.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, Business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
