Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished video product, ensuring seamless transitions, appropriate pacing, and visual coherence.
- Collaborate with the creative team, clients, and stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Trim, rearrange, and enhance footage to optimize storytelling and convey the desired message.
- Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance video quality and engage the audience.
- Select and integrate suitable music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the overall production value.
- Ensure that the video content aligns with the established style, brand guidelines, and target audience.
- Conduct color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production tasks to ensure high-quality output.
- Continuously stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and software advancements in video editing and post-production.
- Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient and accessible file structure.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and deliver videos within specified timeframes.
- Provide creative input and contribute ideas to improve video content and production processes.
- Occasionally participate in on-location video shoots and provide guidance on capturing footage for optimal editing outcomes.
- Plan, shoot, and capture high-quality video footage for a variety of projects, including promotional videos, interviews, events, tutorials, and more.
- Operate video cameras, lenses, tripods, stabilizers, lighting equipment, and other technical gear to ensure optimal image and sound quality.
- Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring it is properly cared for, in good working condition, and ready for use.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, delivering completed videos within specified timeframes.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance video concepts, storytelling, and production quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Solid knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and animation is a plus.
- Ability to interpret and implement creative briefs, brand guidelines, and client requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work and demonstrating proficiency in various styles and genres.
