Translator needed at Sany Nigeria

Role Summary

• As a Translator at SANY Nigeria, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations by providing accurate and timely translations of various documents. Your responsibilities will include translating documents related to administration, human resources, and daily administrative tasks, as well as supporting our operations team with translation needs.

Key Responsibilities
Document Translation:

• Translate a wide range of documents, including contracts, policies, procedures, reports, and correspondence.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in translations, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
• Proofread and edit translated documents for grammar, style, and clarity.

Administrative Support:

• Assist with administrative tasks related to translation projects, such as file management, tracking progress, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Human Resources Support:

• Translate documents related to human resources, including job descriptions, employee handbooks, and performance reviews.

Operations Support:

• Provide translation support for the operations team, including translating technical manuals, specifications, and other operational documents.
• Collaborate with operations staff to understand the specific requirements and context of translations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields with 1 – 3 years work experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English Language.
• Strong translation skills, with a proven ability to accurately translate complex technical and business documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of translation tools and software (e.g., CAT tools).

Experience:

• Previous experience in translation, preferably in a corporate or academic setting.
• Experience with translating technical or legal documents is a plus.
