Job Summary

• The Grant, Partnerships, and International Linkages Expert will be responsible for developing and managing grant programs, fostering partnerships with external stakeholders, and establishing international linkages to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
• The role requires strong project management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to cultivate relationships with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure grant funding opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
• Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals, including conducting research, writing proposals, and liaising with donors and funding agencies.
• Manage the grant lifecycle, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with donor requirements and regulations.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, government agencies, and other funding partners to diversify funding sources and maximize financial support for the organization’s programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align grant-funded projects with organizational priorities, ensuring that activities are implemented effectively and achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to staff involved in grant-funded projects, including monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Stay abreast of trends and developments in grant funding, partnerships, and international linkages relevant to the organization’s focus areas, and incorporate best practices into grant-seeking efforts.
• Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and networking events with donors, partners, and other stakeholders to promote the organization’s mission and build strategic relationships.
• Facilitate the establishment of international linkages and collaborations with organizations, institutions, and experts in relevant fields to enhance the organization’s global impact and visibility.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other communications materials related to grant activities, partnerships, and international linkages for internal and external stakeholders.
