Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, design and create course curricula, content, materials, and assessments for online learning.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to identify course goals and objectives.
  • Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create and deliver engaging and
  • Effective course content.
  • Setting and grading assignments, tests and exams.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, interactive activities, and assessments, to enhance the
  • Learning experience.
  • Ensure course content is aligned with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Continuously review and update course materials to ensure relevance and currency.
  • Monitor and evaluate course effectiveness through data analysis and student feedback.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should have

  • A doctorate degree in any of: Mathematics, Statistics, General Studies,Physics, Computing and Software Engineering, Computing and Data Science, Computer Science,
  • Cybersecurity, Public Administration and Policy, Business Management, Accounting and Economics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in lecturing tertiary students and/or instructional design.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
  • Strong project management, writing and communication skills are a must.
  • Experience in e-Learning and online teaching is a plus.
  • Published work is an advantage.
