Job Description

  • The Technical Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent in the technology sector to meet the organization’s needs.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of technical roles, industry trends, and the ability to source and engage candidates across various channels.
  • The Technical Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements, screen candidates, and manage the hiring process from start to finish.

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a recruiting strategy to attract qualified candidates for technical positions, including software engineers, data scientists, IT professionals, and other related roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements, team dynamics, and company culture.

Sourcing & Candidate Pipeline:

  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Conduct talent market research to understand trends and salary benchmarks in the technology industry.

Screening & Interviewing:

  • Review resumes and applications to identify top candidates for technical positions.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with job requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

Candidate Management:

  • Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, acting as a company ambassador and ensuring a positive experience for all applicants.
  • Negotiate offers with selected candidates, ensuring alignment with company compensation policies.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, establish evaluation criteria, and create effective interview processes.
  • Provide guidance on technical recruiting best practices, ensuring a consistent and efficient hiring process across departments.

Employer Branding & Networking:

  • Promote the company’s employer brand through social media, tech events, and other networking opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, job fairs, and tech meetups to build relationships with potential candidates and showcase the company’s culture.

Recruiting Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics, such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, and source of hire.
  • Use data to identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and suggest improvements.
  • Regularly report recruiting progress to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Compliance & Legal Considerations

  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with employment laws and regulations, including diversity and inclusion standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a technical recruiter, preferably within a fast-paced technology company or agency.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting for various technical roles, including software development, DevOps, IT, data science, etc.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of technical roles, programming languages, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficient in interview techniques and assessment methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
