Job Description

Responsibilities

  •  Provide technical support for events, including audio-visual setups, lighting, and technical equipment operation.
  •  Collaborate with the Events team to understand technical requirements and ensure seamless event execution.
  •  Assist in the setup and configuration of audio-visual equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  •  Troubleshoot technical issues during events and find swift resolutions to minimize disruptions.
  •  Assist in managing event registration and guest management processes, using event management software and tools.
  •  Assist with event logistics, such as venue setup, equipment transportation, and technical arrangements.
  •  Maintain and organize technical equipment and inventory, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  •  Stay updated with the latest advancements in event technology and suggest innovative technical solutions.
  •  Support the Team Lead, Events & Technical Assistants, in various event-related tasks as needed.
  •  Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, contributing to the success of the Events team.

Education + Experience

  •  A degree or diploma in a relevant technical field, such as Audio-Visual Technology, Event Technology, or a related discipline.
  •  Previous experience in technical support, audio-visual setups, or event technology is a plus.
  •  Familiarity with audio-visual equipment, lighting systems, and technical event solutions.
  •  Proficiency in using event management software and tools.
  •  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, meeting tight deadlines.
  •  Flexibility to work on-site or remotely, depending on project requirements.
