Job Description

• We seek to hire a highly motivated and qualified Teaching Assistant to join her team in the Education Management industry.
• As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the classroom teacher in planning and implementing lessons
• Support students during classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment
• Assist in the preparation and organization of teaching materials and resources
• Monitor and provide feedback on student progress and behavior
• Supervise students during lunchtime, recess, outdoor activities and field trips
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional support
• Assist in the assessment and grading process, including the collection and recording of student data
• Collaborate with classroom teacher to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
• Communicate regularly and effectively with students’ parents or guardians regarding their academic progress and development
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events
• Assist in Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records and grades

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• Valid International Teaching Certification
• Proven 5-10years experience as Teaching Assistant in an international school or working with diverse student populations

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using educational technology and software
• Knowledge of different teaching strategies and methodologies
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in English (additional language proficiency is a plus)
• Good understanding of cultural differences and willingness to navigate and embrace diversity

• Strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum and teaching methods.
