Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Resource Mobilization:
- Develop and implement strategies to raise funds for SDG projects from international agencies, including the World Bank, UNDP, and other relevant organizations.
- Cultivate relationships with donors, negotiate funding agreements, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Monitor projects, project budgets, and financial reporting.
Possess expertise in SDG Costing and Financing
Policy and Framework Expertise:
- Stay updated and informed on international frameworks, policies, and standards related to sustainable development.
- Provide guidance to project teams on aligning initiatives with global best practices.
- Ensure adherence to SDG indicators and reporting mechanisms.
Baseline Assessments and Project Design:
- Conduct thorough baseline assessments to inform project design and implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project needs, goals, and measurable outcomes.
- Develop project proposals and work plans.
- Prioritize and map goals, targets, and indicators with national planning frameworks.
- Mainstream within national plans, sub-national plans/at governorate and senatorial levels.
- Enhance monitoring and evaluation systems
- Collaboration with International Agencies:
- Drive Liaison or partnership with relevant agencies.
- Participate in coordination meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Represent IPMC Limited in relevant stakeholder forums.

- Proven knowledge and understanding of theories, concepts and approaches relevant to sustainable development issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of intergovernmental processes in the area of sustainable development and outputs of the high-level institutional forums.
- Ability to identify key strategic sustainable development issues, opportunities and risks.
- Ability to generate and communicate broad and compelling organizational direction.
- Demonstrated ability to provide innovative technical leadership by performing and/or overseeing the planning, development, and management of capacity building activities.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and apply good judgment.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and produce reports leading to sound policy recommendations for achieving sustainable development
- Solid understanding of the programmes and activities of the UN system in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and other internationally agreed development goals
- Ability to think strategically, to identify key emerging sustainable development issues and related policy implications.

- Highly proficiency in interpersonal communication and use of technology tools including Microsoft Packages

- Demonstrates knowledge of strategies and commitment to the goal of gender balance in staffing.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainable Development, Economics, Sustainable Accounting, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or any related field).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience working with international agencies, preferably in the context of sustainable development.
- Proven track record in fundraising and resource mobilization.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and project management.
- Familiarity with SDG frameworks and indicators.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Work experience with the UNDP, United Nations will be an added advantage.
