JOB DESCRIPTION
Design and Planning
- Develop and review project plans, specifications, and estimates
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Project Management
- Oversee project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Site Operations
- Supervise and inspect construction works, including earthworks, concrete pouring, and structural erections
- Ensure site safety, quality control, and environmental compliance
- Manage and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials
Quality Control and Assurance
- Assist in developing and ensuring implementation of quality control plans and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with specifications
- Identify and address defects or non-compliant work
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and submit project reports, progress updates, and technical documents
- Maintain accurate records, including design calculations, test results, and as-built drawings
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of Technicians, laborers and contractors
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project delivery
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate with clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Ensure effective collaboration and coordination to meet project objectives
Health, Safety, and Environment
- Assist to develop and implement HSE plans and procedures
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry standards
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in (Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture or Quantity Surveying)
Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in Building construction.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Asana)
- Understanding of construction methods and materials.

Certifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license (optional)
