The Role

  • The learning & career development executive is responsible for managing the learning & development, performance management and career management Lifecyle ensuring development and delivery of initiatives that improve employee performance.

  Key Responsibilities

  Onboarding/Induction:

  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Ensure new hires get necessary job information from hiring manager (JD, OKRs etc)
  • Have one month & 6 months check in with new hires.
  • Ensure new hires go through the compliance training.
  • Conduct stay interviews.

Employee Relations:

  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters the Employee Experience Director
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Develop and share the People Operations Newsletter
  • Carry out Business partnering with Heads of Departments
  • Develop and deploy Employee Engagement initiatives.

Learning & Development:

  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Conduct Training need analysis and post training assessment.
  • Management of the Absorb LMS platform.
  • Calendar and content development as well as training curriculum
  • Develop Learn and Development strategies.

Performance Management:

  • Ensure and assist employees to set smart goals & Quarterly OKRs
  • Ensure probationary appraisals are conducted as and at when due
  • Manage the PM Cycle
  • Assist Team leads and departmental heads with Performance Improvement Plans when needed.

Career Management:

  • Design and development of competency framework
  • Career management across all levels
  • Succession Planning
  • Design and management of graduate training program

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance to all/any training.
  • Review, development and driving of People Operation Policies
  • Ensure remittance and compliance to the local training regulations (ITF)
  • Any other duties assigned.

Educational qualification and key skills

  • Minimum of a BSC/HND from a reputable institution
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human resources with strong skill set in Learning & Development & Performance Management
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
