Must haves

  • At least 5 years of backend full-time work experience 
  • At least 3 years of experience using NodeJs
  • At least 2 years experience working with NestJs
  • At least 2 years experience working with Typescript
  • Good understanding of micro-service architecture 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS
  • Experience building performant (caching, scaling, optimisation, etc) backend services
  • Experience writing tests

Nice to haves 

  • Engineering team/tech lead experience or similar role
  • Experience with any client-side technology or framework
  • Knowledge of other programming languages like Python
  • Knowledge of application deployment and monitoring
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and docker
