Nigerian Foundries Ltd is a leading manufacturing company undergoing a transformation to overhaul its accounts and finance department, supported by the Stanford Seed program. We are seeking a dynamic, young professional with a passion for financial excellence and process optimization to help lead this change.

Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun State

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management using Profit First principles to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes, departmental workflows, and approval systems to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance performance.
  • Vendor & Procurement Management: Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure efficient vendor management, competitive bidding, and adherence to procurement policies for cost-effectiveness.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the operations budget through strategic cost control measures and provide monthly performance feedback to management for decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the operations team, providing training, guidance, and leadership to achieve departmental goals.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update financial and operational processes, policies, and procedures, identifying risks and inefficiencies.
  • Project Management: Provide oversight for the execution of all approved projects and ensure alignment with the company’s goals.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with business partners, clients, and contractors to ensure operational excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Talent Management team to ensure compliance with company policies and effective coordination of activities across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, ICAN certification is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, cash flow management, and Profit First principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and process management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
