Job Description

• Ensure accurate ledger postings & account reconciliations 
• Transaction postings into the accounting software Booking of accruals, preparation of prepayment schedules and prepaid expenses. 
• Maintain asset register including disposals, transfers or acquisitions. Compliance with Internal control policies and procedures. 
• Prepare audit schedules for both internal and external audits Timely closure of audit non-conformities Reconciliations of intercompany balances Liases with Export team to process documents for smooth operations. 
• Collation of documents preparatory for month end tax reporting and filing Liases with transport team to obtain monthly reports on local evacuations, SGC haulages and other export operations. 
• Collates and reconcile shipper’s cost before invoicing Maintain database of transactions source documents. 
• Account payable management Collaborate with internal and extrenal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. 
• And any other job as may be assigned.

Job Experience

• BSc in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA).  
• Experience 4-6 years  
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Ability to train and manage staff.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
