Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive National Values lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and instructional guidelines.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes understanding, respect, and appreciation of national heritage, values, and cultural diversity.
  • Engage students in discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking, reflection, and responsible citizenship.
  • Teach topics related to national history, heritage, cultural traditions, ethics, integrity, and civic responsibilities.
  • Promote values such as honesty, integrity, respect, patriotism, empathy, and social responsibility among students.
  • Organize and facilitate events, assemblies, or programs that celebrate national holidays, cultural festivals, or community service initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A strong practicing Spirit-filled Christian, with a deep commitment to Christian values and principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, History, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification in Social Sciences, National Values, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching National Values education or related subjects at the secondary school level.
  • In-depth knowledge of national history, cultural heritage, values, and ethical principles.
  • Passion for education and a genuine interest in inspiring students to become responsible and engaged citizens.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth and personal development.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest pedagogical approaches and national developments.
