Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with client’s decision makers and other influencers within the commercial and industrial sectors in North West region of Nigeria. Responsible for increasing the Starsight Energy market share across Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to engage at all levels within prospective and new customers.
  • Responsible for developing and executing initiatives to increase market share amongst clients/customers by offering bespoke solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Must possess strong business acumen and ability to decern real and viable projects to allow better resource utilization.
  • Responsible for aggressive pursuit of potential customer to grow the Starsight addressable market.
  • Responsible for ensuring quarterly targets are achieved.
  • Responsible for driving sales, profitability, and growth in new segments and so on, across the country.
  • Responsible for ensuring Due-Diligence and KYC processes are followed through during the sales process.
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate approvals are acquired before any technical and commercial submissions are made.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all customer requirements are met in terms of solution specification, responsibility matrixes, contract terms etc.
  • Responsible for developing business plan for customers/clients’ engagements in each business sector. 
  • Responsible for profitability during the entire sales stage.
  • Responsible for proper documentation of all customer visits and submissions.
  • Must possess good diction and ability to review contracts thoroughly.
  • Must possess strong market intelligence and competitor knowledge.

Requirements

  • Must possess 5-7 years of continuous work experience in sales, sales operations and customer facing roles.
  • Ability to engage management and executives in multiple C&I organizations.
  • Achievement of quarterly and annual sales and margin targets
  • Ability to initiate and execute sales process with new customers and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work seamlessly within the technical and commercial team
  • Ability to develop, interpret and report business cases using MS PowerPoint slides
  • Ability to manage sales processes for individual customers/clients
  • Ability to increase the Starsight market share
  • Expertise in the use of all Microsoft Office suite tools and CRM
  • Ability to assess opportunities to confirm best fit for the Starsight model
  • Ability to articulate the Starsight value proposition
  • MBA will be an advantage
