Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Accounts Officer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, and handling account transactions.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, and financial principles, and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of exotic wine and drinks is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation:

  • Identify and target potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings to close deals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company’s products and services.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
  • Maintain an updated customer database.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to inform sales strategies and improve effectiveness.

Reporting:

  • Prepare regular sales and financial reports for management review.
  • Analyze sales trends and financial data to make informed decisions.
  • Monitor and report on accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Ability to work on-site during business hours with occasional extended hours as needed.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Work closely with the product development team to provide client feedback and insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and account management.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
