Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Accounts Officer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, and handling account transactions.
- This role requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, and financial principles, and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of exotic wine and drinks is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation:
- Identify and target potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and client meetings to close deals.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the company’s products and services.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
- Maintain an updated customer database.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to inform sales strategies and improve effectiveness.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales and financial reports for management review.
- Analyze sales trends and financial data to make informed decisions.
- Monitor and report on accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Ability to work on-site during business hours with occasional extended hours as needed.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Work closely with the product development team to provide client feedback and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and account management.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
