Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients and market opportunities through research and networking.
- Generate high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
- Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
- Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business
- Increase the business services of the company in the IOCs
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential clients.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales goals and expand market share.
- Develop relationships withclients, prepareand deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Create and manage proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
- Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs
- Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow-up
- Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts
- Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation
Technical Sales:
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients during the sales process.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the suitability of solutions for client needs.Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of our products and solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process.
- Repair, installation, and maintenance of Pumps, static and rotating equipment.
- Use of diagnostic tools and mechanical hand tools for fault tracing, vibration detection and activity executions.
- Asset Care routine to ensure PM/CM close-out and Integrity of Asset maintained.
- Routine machinery and equipment servicing.
Project Management:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and management.
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during and after the sales process.
- Establish and maintain work relationship with clients and regulatory bodies E.g. NAPIMS, NCDMB and DPR.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to maintain strong relationships with clients.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Track sales performance and report on key metrics, and client interaction.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to management on progress and opportunities.
- Prepare bids and submit on time as requested.
Requirements
- Must possess at least a Second Class Degree in Engineering.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar position.
- Extensive working experience in the oil and gas sector.
- Strong Business to Business (B2B) sales, Business development, Technical sales, Sales strategy, team leadership skills
- Have an eye for details and Zero tolerance to rework or errors
- Ability to manage proposals, possess prior contract management expertise, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Provide proven leadership and management experience
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- Possess experience interacting with executive-level staff
- Exhibit expertise in winning big contracts, be a skilled bidder, and be familiar with document management techniques.
