Job Description

  • This role assists in ensuring that the broker market is serviced at all times.

  • This role is specifically for a Life Insurance business

DESCRIPTOR

  • Develops and implements a sales, marketing and support plan for all clients and stakeholders                            
  • Builds and maintains sustainable relationships with all clients and prospects in designated portfolio. Portfolio would be corporate businesses, non-governmental organisations, consular offices in Abuja and the rest of the Northern Region. Product lines will be various forms of credit life insurance sales, that is, personal loans, salary advance, mortgages and keyman risks as well as group life insurance sales                                      
  • Manages the relationship between Old Mutual and its customers and ensures maximum growth of the portfolio.                                                    
  • Researches competitor offerings and makes recommendations.
  • Reacts to market trends and competitor initiatives to ensure sustainable growth.                                                      
  • Supports and advises on all product-related aspects of Old Mutual products to customers
  • Meets all revenue business targets set out for each period.

Sales Support:

  • Receives requests for quotations from brokers and makes alterations to existing business.
  • Supports and advises on all product-related aspects of products to Brokers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A first degree or its equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Team Leadership skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS packages (Especially MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook)
  • 5 years Life Insurance Sales experience is compulsory
