The Role

• The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients about various health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.

Responsibilities

• Assess student health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical Assess students’ health status, identify nursing care needs, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians and monitor students’ responses to interventions.
• Provide compassionate and holistic nursing care, addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of students.
• Perform routine nursing procedures.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled students.
• Advise students on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
• Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies to promote wellness and prevent complications.
• Provide guidance and support to patients in managing chronic illnesses, adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors, and adhering to prescribed treatment regimens.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in students’ conditions.
• Maintain accurate Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records, in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, detailed reports and records.
• Modify student treatment plans as indicated by students’ responses and conditions.
• Direct or supervise less experienced nursing staff or healthcare assistants.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate student care plans.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a school setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
